Madison, Wisconsin - April 26th, 2011 - Union Technology Cooperative, a worker-owned and operated technical support provider, recently opened a new office on Branch Street in Middleton. Formed in 2008 by a collective of independent IT contractors, UTC is the state's only information technology business organized as a cooperative.
Only a handful of technology cooperatives exist throughout the country, and Madison's strong cooperative roots had a major impact on UTC's formation. UTC provides technicial support for small and medium-sized businesses as well as residential clients in the greater Madison area. The member-owners of UTC place a strong focus on community by providing affordable services to community organizations and residents with a high level of need.
UTC is the only local technical support provider that focuses on enterprise-quality services and solutions for area businesses and individuals.
